801 Local is looking for a Host to join our team! If you are an upbeat, social person who has a passion for excellent service and upscale dining, and enjoys establishing genuine connections with guests, we want to talk to you!

This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) front of the house (FOH) position working in a team-oriented, high-volume / fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest quality food & drink.

Requirements & Expectations:

Minimum of 1 year, but preferably at least 2-3 years of host experience in a fast-paced, upscale dining establishment.
Must be available to work any day of the week, including days, evenings, weekends & some holidays.
Knowledge of, and ability to work within, OpenTable and other computer systems.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys interacting with the public while maintaining a strong sense of hospitality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, to multi-task, and to maintain focus/memory of information received.
Ability to communicate clearly (in person or via telephone) while demonstrating warmth & professionalism to guests in a busy, fast-paced / high-stress environment.
Ability to maintain regular, reliable and predictable attendance.

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:

Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time
Physical ability to lift up to 30lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs (bussing duties)
Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb and twist
